​The VAEA Distinguished Fellows have begun a project called Legends and Legacies. The fellows interview art teachers/art educators who have made significant contributions to art education in Virginia. The goal of this project is to build a professional, institutional memory of Virginia art educators. The fellows hope that these stories can inspire current and future art educators in Virginia.
